Operational Insight

Think of the shipment tabs as a streamlined workflow for your logistics operation. The first three tabs—Pending, Active, and Future—are primarily used by your operations team for managing and dispatching daily work. Once a job is completed, it enters the Delivered tab, where the operations manager or supervisor confirms that all supporting documents, pricing, and proof of delivery are in order.

The Delivered tab is more than just a holding zone—it's also a workspace to finalize shipments. Here, you can upload required documents, attach PODs (Proof of Delivery), add internal notes, and finalize charges. You can also generate and issue invoices directly from this tab. Once everything is completed and verified, move the shipment to the Complete tab. This final step locks the job as 100% finalized and ready for audit or reporting.

But if you’re a one-person operation—which many of our users are—you can still benefit from this structured approach. Simply treat the first three tabs as your internal workflow for managing and progressing shipments. Use the Delivered tab to hold jobs while you attach documents, enter final details, confirm pricing, and invoice. When you're ready, move it to Complete for your own records or closing off the job. And don’t worry—you can generate invoices from any tab whenever you’re ready, offering full flexibility to match your unique workflow.
